The fruiting body of a fungus, what most people know as a “mushroom” can hold astonishingly different physical features across the mycological kingdom. When I’m in the woods, I often take pictures of the mushrooms that I want to appreciate later, or to record an unknown so I can go home and learn which species it might be. This is a collection of a few of the pictures I have taken over the years. Species ID and location will be added over time.
